Laptops Connect operates in compliance with applicable South African laws, including the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

• All laptops sold are pre-owned or refurbished, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
• Reasonable signs of prior use may be present and do not constitute defects.
• Each device is tested for functionality before dispatch.
• Product images are for illustration purposes and actual units may vary slightly in appearance.

• All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR).
• Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
• Full payment is required before dispatch.
• Ownership of the laptop transfers to the customer only after full payment has been received and cleared.

• Delivery is free of charge within South Africa.
• All orders are shipped via The Courier Guy (TCG).
• A tracking number will be provided once the order is dispatched.
• Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to courier or external factors beyond our control.

Delivery Acceptance

• Customers must inspect their laptop upon receipt.
• Functional checks must be completed within 3 days of delivery.
• Any issues must be reported within this period.
• Continued use beyond 3 days will be regarded as acceptance of the product in good working condition.

• All laptops include a 1-month limited warranty from the date of delivery.
• Warranty coverage applies only to faults not caused by misuse, negligence, or accidental damage.

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

• Physical or accidental damage
• Liquid or water damage
• Broken or cracked screens
• Damaged or missing keyboards
• Damage caused by power surges, unauthorised repairs, or software modifications

All warranty claims are subject to inspection and approval.

Exchanges

• Exchanges are available within the 1-month warranty period for confirmed warranty-related faults.
• The laptop must be returned in the same condition as supplied, excluding the approved fault.
• If the same model is unavailable, a device of similar value and specifications will be offered.

Returns & Refunds

• We do not offer returns for refunds.
• Refunds are not provided for change of mind, buyer error, or preference.
• Refunds will only be considered where required by South African consumer law.

By purchasing from Laptops Connect, customers agree to:

• Use the laptop responsibly and in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
• Protect the device from physical damage, liquid exposure, and electrical surges.
• Back up personal data regularly.

Laptops Connect is not responsible for data loss under any circumstances.

• Laptops Connect shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use any product.
• Liability is limited to the value of the product purchased, to the extent permitted by law.

• We collect only the personal information necessary to process orders and deliveries.
• Personal information is handled securely and confidentially.
• Information may be shared with third parties only where required to complete delivery or comply with legal obligations.

By using our services, you consent to the lawful processing of your personal information in accordance with POPIA.

Laptops Connect reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be effective once published on our website.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
